Live music is what we’re all about! The focus of the show is to build an audience of listeners around a shared love of live-recorded music played with passion and skill. We’ve been broadcasting since 2019 on 89.9 WORT FM in Madison, WI from midnight to 2 AM on Friday Night/Saturday mornings.
The show covers and is about the live music experience of all genres of music. We have a particular emphasis on live, improvisational music., and I take full advantage of being a community radio station and will play extended tracks with absolute minimal promotional interruption.
The goal of the show is to be a resource for the live music scene here in South-Central Wisconsin and get people out to see more shows. Madison has been a hotbed of excellent shows, particularly for improvisational bands. At the end of the day, I want more bands to come more frequently to my community, and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
